APPLICATIONS REQUIRING REFERENCE TO DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT PANEL Additional documents:
Minutes: The Planning Service Manager (Development Management) submitted reports (copies of which are appended in the Minute Book) on applications for development to be determined by the Panel and advised Members of further representations (details of which also are appended in the Minute Book) which had been received in connection therewith since the reports had been prepared. Whereupon, it was RESOLVED (a) New
Two-Storey Care Home with associated access road, parking and landscaping, land
east of West Newlands, Somersham – 11/01361/OUT Subject to the retention of the mature hedgerow to the front of the site other than where it is necessary to create an access, the application be approved subject to conditions to be determined by the Head of Planning Services to include those listed in paragraph 8 of the report now submitted. (b) Permanent
change of use of land from agricultural paddock to provide four additional
gypsy/traveller pitches and hardstandings, Five Acres
Field, St. Ives Road, Woodhurst – 11/01499/FUL that the application be approved subject to conditions to be determined by the Head of Planning Services to include the following non-standard conditions - - occupation limited to gypsies and travellers - landscaping/site development scheme - details of any utility buildings - details of any lighting - no commercial use - maximum vehicle size - maximum number of pitches/caravans - no caravans, mobile homes, buildings or structure beyond rear building line - replacement of failed landscaping - no gates within 15 metres of the carriageway edge - provision of on-site parking and turning; and - foul and surface water drainage. (c) Change
of use from agricultural land to form a new access way onto B1040 to include a
piped ditch crossover, Highfield House, New Road, Warboys – 11/00948/FUL that the application be approved subject to conditions to be determined by the Head of Planning Services to include those listed in paragraph 8 of the report now submitted. (d) Change
of use from A1 (retail) to A3/A5 restaurant/hot food takeaway – replacement of
flat roof with pitched roof and conversion of garage to store room with pitched
roof over – 124 Main Street, Yaxley – 11/00776/FUL (Councillor M Rickman, Yaxley Parish Council,
Mr K Hawkins, objector and Mr M Skoyles on behalf of
the applicant addressed the Panel on the application.) that the application be approved subject to conditions to be determined by the Head of Planning Services to include those listed in paragraph 8 of the report now submitted and additionally that the conditions requiring a new pitched roof and rendering of the building be delivered prior to the opening of the new restaurant. (e) Extension
to service area to provide additional catering outlets, picnic area and car
parking, site at Brampton Hut, Great North Road, Brampton – 11/00801/OUT (Mr N Ozier on behalf of an objector and Mr D

Minutes: By reference to a report by the Planning Service Manager (Development Management) the Panel was advised of the outcome of two notable appeals against refusal of planning permission by the District Council. Members were reminded that all appeal decisions could be viewed in full via public access on the District Council’s internet/intranet sites. |
