| What does the Council need from the landlord? |

| We need the landlord to
- provide correct information about the tenancy including the start date, rent charged and any services provided
- give prompt information when tenants move out
- understand that the agreement to pay rent is with the tenant and not the Council.
- Be aware that if there are difficulties paying the rent, the landlord should speak to the tenant first
- to repay any amounts of overpaid Housing Benefit promptly |
